Bus Route Application

Please Note: All scholar(s) new and returning MUST reapply to ride the bus as seats are limited and are filled on a first-come, first-served basis.

Student Bus Rules of Conduct  

 The RISE Schools District is happy to announce the 2023-2024 Bus Request Form on the Transportation page, listed under the Parent Information tab on the school’s website.


ALL NEW AND RETURNING SCHOLARS MUST COMPLETE A TRANSPORTATION FORM.

Scholars who rode a bus last year MUST reapply as seats are limited it’s first come, first serve.

Parents may access the new online school bus transportation form by clicking on their transportation tab and going to forms. Simply fill out the form and submit it. All families that are approved to ride the bus will receive an email. Once you receive your offer email to ride the school bus, families MUST confirm their seat, their bus number, pick up and drop off location at the Back-to-School Community Celebration on Sunday, July 30th, 2023.

Upon confirmation, parents will also receive an email with their scholar’s bus number, assignment, morning and afternoon pick-up location, and time. The following are important notes to remember:

    1. Before students can be assigned to a bus, parents must have completed Online Registration via Infinite Campus and signed the scholar/parent contract.
    2. Submitting an online bus request DOES NOT confirm your scholar’s seat on the bus.
    3. A separate bus request form must be completed for each student needing transportation, please note if they are siblings.  
    4. Once confirmed, parents assure that they have read and understand, as does their student, the student bus rules of conduct attached to this message. A link to the bus rules of conduct is also located on the school’s website.
    5. NO alternate AM and PM stop or bus change is allowed. 
    6. Bus assignments and parent notifications can take up to two weeks. With hundreds of bus requests to process, bus and route assignments will be in progress and possibly changing up until the first week of school. Please be patient.
    7. Due to limited space on buses, please submit a request for transportation if your student will ride the bus. Please DO NOT request bus transportation “just in case”; it may be needed occasionally. Bus rosters will be reviewed every two weeks. Students who have been absent from riding their assigned bus for 10 or more consecutive days will be removed from the roster.
    8. Parents should be aware that bus routes can change. Parents will be notified of any changes.
